The Initial Consultation
Free initial consultation to discuss prospective services, your individual needs, and your birth desires. This time is to get to know each other.
Prenatal Visits
3 prenatal visits
Informational sharing and materials
Discuss birth process/progression
Phone, text, and email support
Discuss birth preferences, roles, and comfort measures
Help you formulate questions for open communication with your provider
On-call Availability
From 2 weeks before your estimated due date til the baby is born
Call when you think you are in labor
Available at any time when you are in need at home and/or at hospital
Birthing Time Support
Provide support at home and birthing place
Suggestions for movement and positions to facilitate progression
Partner support
Endless comfort measures
Rebozo
Accompany mother throughout birthing time (a backup doula may be used at my discretion)
Postpartum Support
Provide support 2-3 hours immediately after birth
Protect the magical hour following birth
Assist with breastfeeding and bonding
Provide 1-2 postpartum home visits within 2 weeks after birth
Please keep in mind that some medical insurance companies are now covering doula services, as well as some company's FSA accounts. I am happy to provide a receipt for reimbursements from your insurance.
